In this article, we shall continue with telling the time in the evening, night and at dawn. Below are some words we should know before continuing.

Let’s start with day time; 4:00 – 7:00 PM

NIGHT

| anadwo nnɔn nkron | 9 PM | |
| anadwo nnɔn du | 10 PM | |
| anadwo nnɔn dubaako | 11 PM | |
| ɔdasuom | 12 midnight |
**Note that at 12 midnight we say ɔdasuom.
DAWN
1 AM – 5 AM midnight = anɔpa hema nnɔn + (number)

| anɔpa hema nnɔn mmienu | 2 AM | |
| anɔpa hema nnɔn mmiεnsa | 3 AM | |
| anɔpa hema nnɔn nan | 4 AM | |

To ask the time, you say:
| Abɔ sεn? | What is the time? |
If you want to say, ‘The time is 8 PM’, you say:
| Abɔ anadwo nnɔn nwɔtwe | It is 8 PM |
If you want to say, ‘The time is 2 AM’, you say:
| Abɔ anɔpa hema nnɔn mmienu | It is 2 AM |
