Adinkra E-Cards iPhone & iPod Touch App Is Now Available!

They are very popular and extremely important symbols in the Asante culture. You’ve most probably seen them on cloth, in books, used as decorations on houses, furniture, pottery, woodcarving etc. I am talking about those interesting looking African symbols known as Adinkra symbols.

Adinkra symbols are stamped onto cloth by the Asante people and worn on important occasions. Each Adinkra symbol has a name and also a proverb associated with it that silently speaks of words of wisdom reflecting the philosophy, religious beliefs, social values and political history of the Twi language speaking Akan people.

Today we are pleased to announce the release of our new iPhone and iPod touch app, Adinkra E-Cards, with which you can create your own spectacular Adinkra symbol e-cards and email them to your friends. You can choose from over one hundred different Adinkra symbols, add beautiful Kente strips, colourful backgrounds, add your own message and email them to your friends and loved ones on any memorable occasion that you want to tell them something profound, encourage them, share in their joy, urge them on to victory, show your love, thank them or just to say Hi.

You will not get tired personalizing and sending these Adinkra e-cards. We guarantee you that anybody who receives them will love you for it.

Get Adinkra E-Cards for iPhone or iPod Touch now and don’t forget to write a short review about it and give it five stars on the App Store.

I purchased the Learn Swahili programme and it worked fine. However just the other day I downloaded the update and now cannot access the programme at all. When I attempt to do so the initial screen pops up and then immediately goes off. I am using iPad 2.
