NKYEA TWI PRIMER Asante Twi is the most widely spoken dialect of the Akan language. It is spoken by about 40 percent of people in Ghana as their first language and about 20 percent of the remainder speak it as their second language. Nkyea Twi Primer is meant to introduce a non-Twi speaker to the spoken language. It may also be used by those who have some knowledge of the language, but who want to improve their competence in it.
